How do you overclock a CPU that has a locked multiplier? Lets see, there's the ever so popular Phenom II 940 BE, to overclock it simply raise the multiplier. But what if you had an AMD Phenom II 945? How do you overclock those? Ik about Hyper-Transport and have experimented w/ it on AMD OverDrive and was surprised that it raised the CPU's frequency a bit when you brought the HT frequency up. (I'm was a noob, and still am sorta, so i didnt know how all of that stuff was tied together). Suggestions?

yeah the FSB is comparable to the hyper-transport on AMD's. I just don't understand cause when I raise the HT on my Phenom 9950 system, past like 220 it just crashes. So how am i supposed to get like 3.4-3.6Ghz out of a 945?
