I have a 286 Laptop that I am looking to sell. It is 20MHz, has a 40MB Hard drive, 640KB of RAM and a "High Speed" Floppy drive. Has 2 batteries (although I don't have a charger) and all original documentation. Great Condition, make me an offer, anything!
It is a GRiD Systems GRiDCase 1520 series, and was manufactured in April 1989! I hadn't heard of that brand until I got this. It actually makes more noise than my Athlon XP 1700 with 5 HDs and it weighs about 13 or 14 pounds but I figured some guy might collect stuff like this. It might be worth something in the future. And not that it really matters but I found out that it is only 10 MHz and not 20 MHz.
I see a few of those in a local thrift store every once and a while, usualy a 286 or 386 w/ dot matrix screens. Fun to play around with, but not much. Good luck selling it. You might find some tech school or highschool that would like it for a computer history course... just a thought

... And I'm proud to be an American, where at least I know I'm free, and I won't forget the men who died, who gave that right to me.
