It seems like Crysis isnt running as good as it should on my computer, I think theres something wrong with my video card. Here are my specs
Intel Q9450 OC'd to 3.2Ghz
8 Gigs of Corsair Dominator DDR2 PC2 1066mhz ram
Vista Ultimate 64bit
EVGA Geforce 9800GX2 KO
I ran the Crysis benchmarking tool and on 1600x1200 res, no AA, very high settings it got an average of 18FPS, doesnt seem good at all, Benchmarks show this card running at 50+fps with the same settings.
Then I ran it with the same settings again with 1280x1024 res and it averaged 31 fps.
I have an ASUS rampage formula MOBO is there a setting in there that I need to change for this card to run properly?

Ive still seen benchmarks on very high that are playable. but look how low the res is that im playing at. The benchmarks that ive seen at that res are atleast 50 on high settings.
EDIT: on lots of parts on the game at 1280x1024 hig hsettings with 4xAA the game is barely playable
No its not vista....as I have vista and get 29.87 frames average with 1680x1050 with everything on very high exept shadows on medium.....My specs are in my sig...Some game don't like overclocked settings so he may need to put things back to stock setting and give it a try.....

I ran the benchmark on 1600x1200 with no AA and very high settings, averaged 20.15 FPS, not very good, basically the same as if I would of had 4x AA enabled, my card is supposed to shine when AA is enabled.
1280x1024 averaged 37.68 fps with no AA and very high settings. I plan on getting a 22 inch or 24 inch moniter soon, and if this card cant perform at 1600x1200, it definately wont perform at high res, which it should, the drivers im using must be faulty, or the card itself must be faulty.
I know if you don't have enough stable power going to the card and system it can do that.....it may also be the card.....What power supply are you using? Something is wrong for sure
I have a 750 watt thermaltake PSU, which should be plently to run the card, im using the correct 8 pin and 6 pin power connectors. Heres a link to the PSU im using.
Yea im going to RMA the card on monday. I was just at my friends house who has a Intel E8400, 2 gigs of ram and a 8800GT and it played the game, with the settings exactly the same, noticeably better than mine
