SSD - The Performance Upgrade of the Future
HIS just announced they would be releasing the IceQ version of the 4850. but when will it be release? and will it be expensive?
My guess is that it should be out soon (like 2-3 weeks?) and probably cost 20-30$ more then a regular version so my guess is about 199$ right now. I want one to be honest, I am using a X1950 IceQ right now and I have to say I have had zero problems with it.
How does the "IceQ 4" design compare to well made Zalman heat sink n fan aftermarket kits?
well the IceQ isnt also cooler and quieter but also factory overclocked (i think) plus since its cooler, you can overclock it even more and its Dual slot
It is listed on their website right now. The Iceq isn't overclocked but the IceQ turbo is. No big deal, same hardware, same cooler, just give it a little OC yourself and make it a turbo.
The iceQ's are rear venting, something most aftermarket solutions don't provide.
