Hello all,
I'm looking to upgrade my PSU in order to use a 8800GT (or if it gets too expensive, 9600GT). I have a Gateway GT5438, and support quoted my PSU's form factor as "ATX-12V PSII". I look on newegg and the categories they have are ATX, and ATX12V.
Now, I'm wondering whether plain ol' "ATX" is suitable for my computer, and what the "PSII" means.
btw, I'm looking at this PSU
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817148027
will it fit my needs? It's cheap as hell and the reviews on it aren't bad. If not what's a good (preferably affordable) alternative?
Specs:
Core 2 Duo E4300
2GB DDR2 PC4200
320GB SATA HDD
Intel D945GCF mobo
Thanks!
