WD vs Seagate: 500GB-1TB 7200rpm 3.5" SATA

Yes... another one of those WD vs Seagate threads, but this time I'm looking for something narrower. As the title says, here's the criteria: 500GB-1TB, 7200rpm, 3.5", SATA. But wait there's more! It will be fitted inside an external enclosure (probably with a fan), but just in case it's fanless, I don't want one that will overheat too easily. I hope this info narrows it down.

Doesn't have to be USB....get an enclosure with an E-Sata connection. Or get a "swap box"

Also, Seagate rules the roost for temperature and sound criteria among 7200 rpm drives matching the competition's 5400 rpm drives.

For USB its not going to be any different which ever you pick becuase of the USB transfer limitations - even the green series will perform beyond USB but as cjl suggested the seagate will run cooler in an enclosure - the only benifit really but if you can save a few $$$ with any green series hdd do it
