A question on temperatures

Hey Guys-

Just a quick question, when im using speedfan, my temperatures for my E6750 cores are usually higher (mid-60s) than the actual chip is (low to mid 50s)

My question is, this won't destroy my processor, right?

Firstly make sure the speedfan CPU temp matches with the one in BIOS. Secondly if those are idle temps, and right, theyre very high. Have you overclocked it? Check the Vcore in BIOS too. And most importantly make sure the heatsink is fitted on properly.

calibrate the temp to Coretemp.its more accurate on reading 65nm Core 2 CPUs.
