I recently bought a GA-EP45-DS3P motherboard from Gigabyte, which has an on board sound card. However, after having installed the drivers on the CD i got with the motherboard, i couldnt play any sounds except the standard windows sounds (intro/outro, small pop sounds from bubbles in the tray etc.), and windows kept telling me it had found new hardware and wanted to install driver. Ive tried downloading new drivers from http://www.gigabyte.com.tw/Support [...] uctID=2841 but it still didnt work.
At last i gave in and let windows try to find drivers for the sound card but it didnt seem to work.
Has anyone tried this before, or got any ideas for fixing this problem?
