Was wondering if my current system is able to run crysis at high at a decent framerate and resulution.

My system:

[CPU] AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core processor 4800+ 2.4GHz
[Motherboard] MSI K9AGM2
[RAM] DDR2 2X1GB
[Hard Drive] Samsung HD321KJ 320GB/7200rpm
[Power Supply] Corsair TX650W
[Graphic Card] Sapphire HD4870

Run? Of course. What things hinge on, though, is what you deem to be a "decent framerate" and a "decent resolution." If at 1024x768 (still apparently the most common resolution used) you could quite possibly average 60fps most of the time. It'd probably still be playable up to as high as 1680x1050/1600x1200 or so.

yeh too many people thinknig crysis is some kind of monster.

An 8800GT can run on High, possibly V.H with o/c and nice hardware

People need to understand that crysis on Medium looks good, and that pretty much any new graphics card since 8800GT should run on high.

While I have a Q6600 right now I actually finished crysis very comfortably with a 3800 x2 and 8800GT (that was before I got a new cpu). Might want to go easy on the physics setting.

I run mine on 1650x1050 with all settings on very high except the 2 shaders on medium....It's playable....It will lag sometimes but for the most part...I can enjoy the game
