Recovery of data

Hi
i need to recover all my data of my laptops hard drive. Windows will not launch at all. only a black screen with white _ in top left hand corner. The partitioned C: has corrupted and cannot access it hooking it up to my other laptop. Any ideas on a way of fixing it and recovering the information off it.

I would use spinright to recover the data, then transfer the data to your other drive
