hi there i have a question about memory. i was wondering if a friend ordered a pre built cpu from a site with something like only 512mb of memory and they loaded the OS (vista) and shipped it to him. would he be able to get the computer and pull that 512 out and put in his own 4gigs of memory he bought from another site and have it just plug and play?

the memory is ddr2 which is what the mobo supports as well as 1066mhz which is also supported by the motherboard.

thanks for your help

Yeah, upgrading the RAM will work. Have him run his computer through one of thes RAM configurators and choose some guaranteed to work in his system DIMMs.
