I used it once for my current PC, capped it and stuck it in a box. Does it break down? I can't imagine it has an expiration unless it has hardened in the tube...

Thanks.

i used my 5/6 (5.5 years?) tube of AS5 from my A64 build on my new i7 build and it works fine. temps of 75 deg at 4 Ghz w HT @ 1.33V is normal for this thing.

As long as it is not dried out, it should work fine.

I just used my 3 yr old tube of AS 5 for my newest i7 build. It works great and temps are low.
