will my current system bottlmy 4870

Hello there, im getting a 4870 very soon and i would like to know how i run on my current system, or would the cpu and ram lower the performance of the card?

System:

[CPU] AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core processor 4800+ 2.5GHz
[Motherboard] MSI K9AGM2
[RAM] DDR2 2X1GB
[Hard Drive] Samsung HD321KJ 320GB/7200rpm
[Power Supply] Corsair TX650W
[Graphic Card] Current card is 8600GT wich sux
a c 130 U Graphics card

You will see a good bit of differance, but yes the card could run better with a better CPU. Its all relative really, you will probably be quite happy with it buy it will definatly be faster with a top of the range CPU.

But what about the RAM? and could you maybe suggest a good cpu?

I must admit to not knowing that much about the impact of ram on performance and could only advise you to the best of my knowledge. But it would depend on what the spec of what you have now as to where you should go.
I beleive that this Ram http://www.aria.co.uk/Products/Components/Memory/DDR2/D... would deliver plenty of performance for most peoples needs.
