So does this mean that the Corsshair can take up to the Phenom 9850? I was thinking of getting one and I was wondering if it will be supported now. I have been told in the past that the crosshair will not be able to handle the 9850 because of the higher voltage requirement. Therefore I would be forced to get the asus crosshair II, but I was hoping not to do this. Please don't tell me to get an intel at this time. Here is the asus crosshair cpu support list:

If it says it, and it does......then yes. I wouldnt try the 140W Black though.

Yes of course. It may not be good for OCing though.
No doubt, AMD will come out with a 9850 that uses less power. That might be a better option for you. It's not like you are in real straights with your current chip.

Basically that means the highest end Phenom you can put in your mobo and support is the 9850BE.

I remember your other thread was about the 9950 I thought, which does not show as supported on that mobo you have.
