i recently reformatted windows and had to install from an xp cd as i lost the one that came with my computer. Ever since my computer is crashing completely randomly, i get a blue screen and cant even read what it says as it only stays on for less than a second. i have an unknown device in device manager that says its on 'Microsoft ACPI-Compliant System'. do you think maybe i need to install this specific driver for my motherboard to correct the problem? i have downloaded some drivers for my chipset. any help would be appreciated.

i did an unknown device detection and it couldnt tell me what it was but it gave me the id: AWY0001, anyone know what it could be?
