I just got a Phenom II 720, and an Asus M4A78T-E but I have never overclock. My processor frequency is 2.8GHz and I will like to put it max to 3.2GHz.
Can you tell me how to do it?
Will this work in stock fan or will it run too hot?
What is the recommended frequency for stock fan that you subject?
Thank you for all your help.

i recommend get the Sunbeam Core Contact Freezer and not using the stock fan

i wouldn't want stock fan for anything, though as long as your temps don't go past 62ish at load you will be fine

im assuming the processor is a black edition, i haven't seen any non-BE 720's
go into the bios and raise the multi to 16x and setting the core voltage to say 1.3v
if you don't get into windows up the voltage one step until it seems stable, download prime95 and coretemp, run prime95 stress test with small FFT's and watch your temp, if it gets too high restart and lower voltage, if it crashes raise voltage (unless it is running hot then put it back to stock and wait for the sunbeam to come in)

The stock fan would be fine as long as you don't jack up the voltages. But to be sure, get an aftermarket cooler like the CCF. Just increase the multiplier 0.5/1 at a time and do stress tests from every step.
