My cpu temps are idling from 49c-54c and when in game it usually shoots up to 56-60. I DO have water cooling and this is why im getting pissed and its causes lag spikes here and there and its very annoying. I have all fans running at 100% always also. I dont know what to do

my setup:

Intel Quad Core Q9300 at 2.5ghz (not oc'd)
Asetek LCLC water cooling
NZXT ZERO case
5 120 MM fans
Dual Evga nVidia 9800 gtx kos
4 gigs of corsair dominator
Evga 780i mobo

well as long as your CPU has a good connection with the water cooling cpu plate and the water cooling is working as it should those temps are very high.

i have the 780i EVGA running a q6600 at 3.2 Ghz under air cooling at 45c

id just double check the connection between the cpu heat sink make sure the thermal compound is on and the plate is secure against the CPU and that the water cooling is working correctly.

try using the stock heat sink to test if its the water cooling kit
