Hi

I need some help and advice for selecting a motherboard with no raid/low power use.

The components i have chosen for low power use are

Intel Core 2 Duo, E7200
Asus Radeon HD2400PRO 256Mb PCI-E
Corsair VS 2GB PC5300 667MHz

Motherboards with no RAID

Gigabyte GA-P35-S3G
Asus P5K EPU
Asus P5k SE EPU

or

Asus P5Q SE
Asus P5QL

I will add theses components for the new PC setup

Promise Ultra 133 TX2 IDE controller PCI card
4 x DVD writers
Floppy drive
Seasonic 380 PSU

Of Intel's chipsets, the P43 and P45 are manufactured with the latest lithography, 65nm, and draw the least power.
With this in mind, the P5QL or P5Q SE would be your best choice.
If either has IGP, disregard it as it draws more power and you have an AIB.
