I saw this deal on this PSU by OCZ. Here are the specs of the computer I am thinking.

Some kinda quad core q6600-q9550
4-8gig of ram
2 HD's at 7200 rpm
Crossfire---eventually 2 high end Vcards like 4870's

Also want to Over clock this thing.
So I guess the question is--is 800 W enough and is this specific PSU going to do it?

Again I am only thinking about this because it is a $100 800W PSU that has a decent brand name to it.

It's a tier 2 PSU. It will be perfect! BTW nice deal.

Yeah, it's a good psu, I'd go for it, especially at that price.

In case you haven't found out, since this thread is pretty old, if you got it... that PSU is junk... almost all of them crap out after 6 months. OCZ warranty and tech support is top notch, and they're replacing my OCZ8800EXS with a $150 and 80 watt better unit... they're not even replacing it with the same PSU because of all the problems they've had with it. For anyone else who may be thinking of this unit, stay away, and spend a little more money and get a better OCZ PSU.
