Hi all,

I can´t have my mobo, asus p5e3 deluxe wi-fi to play audio CDs from my pioneer DVD recorder, with on-board sound system. This capability of reproducing Audio direcly from audio CDs is from the Optic drive or the mother board? I dont have an audio cable from the recorder to the mobo, and i think its not necessary, cuzz i managed to play audio cds in my old comp just with the regular data cable.

Any clues?
