Decent Gaming PC advice

So here's what I got so far:

CPU: E8400
mobo: ASUS P5Q LGA 775 Intel P45 ATX Intel
PSU: CORSAIR CMPSU-650TX 650W
RAM: G.SKILL 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400)
graphics: VisionTek 4850

I'm a little iffy on the mobo selection and RAM speed. Does it make a difference if I go with the 1066MHz RAM?

I don't plan on OC'ing or doing xfire.

If you aren't overclocking, getting the faster ram will give you no benefit.

If you are not planning to overclock, you should fine the lowest ram timings.

well doing xfire/sli is not all it's cracked up to be anyhow,there's never any loss for buying the best ram because as long as ,say,ddr2 is around you can always take it with you to your next system and will of course have very good ram,you may not be into o'clocking but,,,you will have a very good start should you get experimental later on..:>)
