HD video editing

All,

I am building a new system for video editing. Will use Q9550 2.83 or 3 Ghz.
I am wondering what the best mobo is, focus should be on FSB speed and many SATA ports (6 or more).
Will use DDR3 ram if that is the best option.
I will not need multiple graphics cards.

I think something along the line of an Asus P5Q Pro would be all that you need.

No need for DDR3, stick with CAS4 DDR2-800.

Keep the Q9550 over the Q9650, it's not worth the extra 200$
