I know this isn't totally CPU related but i just need a quick answer as i know there are always people in this thread.
My ecs boad sucks and is undervolting my cpu. Uber. Gay. any type of conversion or encoding crashes it.
MAIN QUESTION--
whats a decent chipset for overlcocking an e4400?
I would also like to overclock my ram to 800 if possible.
G31, G33, 7050? This is for a mATX board. My phenom build is waiting because i need to get a new car. Life sucks.
Well no one really makes matx OCing boards with integrated video but, anything that supports 1333fsb will support a high enough fsb to get you to 3.33ghz. As long as you buy from the higher end of the chipsets (G35 and G45) you will have some OCing options. Your ram OC will depend mainly on your ram not on the mobo as much.
