I've googled the above issue and haven't come up with much.

I just purchased a Maximus II and haven't been able to boot it up.

This is the RAM i have KVR667D2N5K2/2G
From what I can tell from research people think it's the RAM.

The board sometimes locks up on det DRAM and then it will always lock on init ROM.

Other specs, EVGA 8600 GT, E7200 Wolfdale processor. Any ideas?

Last little piece of information, I purchased this motherboard because as far as i could tell, my last one had failed. No beep codes, just turns on. May or may not be related to my current mobo issues. Thanks

try to explain your problem little better, the things are not clear is it the issue of RAM or is it MOTHERBOARD

If you dont even get a BIOS screen I'd have to say its the board, I have the same one and when mine did that it had be be RMA'd at newegg
