Has anyone tried the Scythe Mugen 2 with 4 fans? If so how did it compare to 1 or 2 fans? Does anyone know where I can get the extra fan clips?

Here are 2 type of fan clips that depends on the type of fan you put on the CPU Cooler.

Scythe 120mm "Fan Clip" Type A for Scythe CPU Coolers with 120mm Fan $6.95

Scythe 120mm "Fan Clip" Type B for Scythe CPU Coolers with 120mm Fan $6.95

I do not have the Scythe Mugen II, but I using two fans (push/pull) on my Thermalright Ultra120 eXtreme for my Core i7 build. At idle it keeps the CPU about the same within 1 to 3 degrees'celius lower then a single fan. When under load it keeps CPU about 10 to 15 degrees' celius lower then single fan.

Hope that helps you out.
