Hi,

Please someone help me.

I have DELL OptiPlex(TM) 745MT with Intel(R) Core(TM) 2 Duo processor E6600 CPU. I planning to purchase Highpoint RocketRaid 1740 RAID5 SATA II Controller.

would it be possible for my CPU to run the raid 5? and is this Highpoint RocketRaid 1740 RAID5 SATA II Controller will be compatible to my CPU?
Because I'm worried after I buy, it will not work.. Please advise.

The CPU has nothing to do with RAID compatibility. As long as your PC has a spare PCI slot it should work. To be 100% sure, contact Highpoint and ask them if it will work.

There is some chance of incompatibility between the card and the motherboard, but its slim
