Hi All,

I am building my 1st system and need some advice on the best mobo. I have researched, reviewed, been through the forums and my head is bursting with all the options. I NEED HELP!!!

Here's my bits

Intel Core 2 Quad Pro Q6600 2.40GHz (1066FSB)
Powercolor ATI Radeon HD 4850 PCS Extreme 512MB
Seagate 250GB SATA 3Gbps Hard Drive
Corsair Twin2X1024-6400C5
Corsair VX450W PSU

No plans to run 2 graphic cards
Newbie at OCing

What I think I have learned is that I want an ASUS or Gigabyte mobo. Not sure if a P45 is required or a P35 will do.
Budget of £120ish

Any advice welocme

Thanks. I will go with the ASUS PQ5 Pro.

Can I ask what rating of PSU you used in your build - do you think the 450w i am planning will be sufficient?

Do you use any special CPU cooling or just standard stock?
