Download Bootable Disk Creator for DOS version of KillDisk(Free), if you can boot to USB, or Download Bootable ISO Image of Active@ KillDisk to burn CD and zero write your hard drive. You will need ISO Recorder or other ISO burning software to burn the bootable CD. Go to the Active@Killdisk site for more information.

You can also use the HD manufaturer's tools to zero write it.

If it won't load after that, then check the CD disk or CD drive for problems.

Make sure you reset your boot order to boot from the optical drive. Sounds to me like its still set to boot from the hard drive as the first boot device.

Are you booting from your Windows disc? If you are there may be a problem with the dsc itself.

Have you zero written the drive yet?

When you go to boot from the disc, are you prompted to press any key to boot from CD? That should bring up the initial zetup environment.

When you said that it checks files and then says NTLDR is unavailable, either there's a problem with the install disc or the system is trying to boot from a partially erased/formatted drive.

I wonder if the zero write worked? A little feedback is always nice.
