HI All,

I am in need of changing my power supply,

yes ive learned my lesson with raidmax 450 watts piece of crap....cant do ****......and its loud

also have a coolermaster extreme 500 and its loud and i believe the source of my problems..

ok so ive the read the guides on ps and

tier one has pc&c > 610
tiere two has pc&c < 610

so where does the 610 fall into?

even in overclocking mode with mode hdd and more optical than i have now, would only need 484w at max, so this should be more than enough,

saw it in my neighbourhood for $115.

is this a go

as long as its quiet and stable, ill be happy.

thanks
let me know

tier 1.5??

Seriously, I am very pleased with mine. It has plenty of power, so it never seems to run at full load, spinning up the fan. I looked for a psu with a rear mounted fan, instead of a bottom mounted fan. It was my intent to duct fresh air from the front of my case to give the psu a clean supply of fresh air. After installing, I found anything special to be totally unnecessary.
It has a pci-E 6 pin connector, and a 6/8 pin connector, so it will power any single vga card out there.
It is available at newegg for $89.99 after rebate http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6817703005

I once had an occasion to call PC P&C customer support with a question. My call was answered by a real person who spoke english that I could understand. They transferred me directly to a tech who took care of my question. I would rate their service as tops.
