More Information

Hello,

I recently got a new motherboard (used unfortionally..), of the type "ECS GeForce6100SM-M".

Everything is connected correctly etc., however, i cannot find the reason why it won't start.

About:

ECS GeForce6100SM-M
2GB Kingston PC5300 (DDR2- 667) - New item (unused, currently bought)
500GB SATA HDD (New, unused)
350W Power Supply (Used, only by me (used on my old computer) everything is set up correctly).
AMD Athlon 64 5000+ (Used, only by me)

So heres what happends when i boot:

I start it up with everything connected, seems fine etc., until 3-8 seconds after the boot (Screen always stays black), the motherboard starts beeping, and then stops for a couple of seconds. Then to continue the beeping.

What i've done:

Reset the BIOS Battery (CMOS)
Check every single wire
Checked CPU Connection
Checked CPU Fan
Checked PSU and such.

Thanks for the help on prehand, if you need more info about the problem i'll be happy to supply it.

Make sure there are no screws or anything stuck behind the board, could be a grounding issue. Doubtful, but possible.
