hey I wanted to ask you guys what do you think of this build-

PSU- Corsair Powersupply 550W Black

Motherboard -MSI P7N SLI Platinum, nForce-750i

CPU - Intel Core(tm) 2 Duo E7200

I allready have a BFG GeForce 7900GS...
and I have pqi turbo 1gbx2 pc2-5400
also corsair xms2-6400 512mbx2

one question is on hd I would like to know which to buy.
I was looking at either

1-Samsung SpinPoint F1 750GB SATA2 32MB 7200RPM
2-Samsung SpinPoint T166 250GB, 16MB, 7200RPM, SATA 3.0 Gbps
3-Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 250GB SATA2 16MB 7200RPM
4-Seagate Barracuda 7200.11 500GB, SATA-300, 32MB, 7200RPM

my other question is on the cpu mobo and psu I chose.
I'll be using this for some gaming and everyday use.
Anyone think there are better choices?
I'm in Sweden so the prices are more expensive then the US I've got about 600usd to 665usd or so to spend about 3,600kronor to 4,000.

i'd rather go with a western digital or a Maxtor harddrive myself... i've had problems in the past with seagate and samsung, it might just be me being unlucky i dont know... but never had a problem with Maxtor or WD

thats my 2p anyhow :D

Do you need the "Platinum" version? Looks like the P7N SLI just has SATA rather than eSATA. I'd imagine it's cheaper.

Anyhow, I'd suggest Seagate or Western Digital harddrives. Just from personal experience. Don't like Maxtor myself as every Maxtor I've had has made audible noise, where as my Western Digital drives have always been near silent.

If you can save money on the motherboard, I'd suggest using it for a video card upgrade, or memory upgrade. Total you have 3GB of RAM, but 2GB is PC5400 and 1GB is PC6400. Works best all your memory is the exact same brand/part.

Just for future expansion purposes, I'd try to find a 400GB+ harddrive so you don't run out of space to soon and have to upgrade yet again.

2 x MSI GTX 260 Core 216 SLI (655Mhz) / 4GB GSkill DDR3 1600 9-9-9-24 @1.5v
2 x WD Caviar Black 1TB / Thermaltake Armor BWS8003
Win 7 64bit / Antec TPQ-850

I took the liberty of replacing your video card and memory. This build does not include a case or thermal paste but since they were not mentioned I did not add them. Total build = $667 and $637 after mail-in-rebates. Remove the video card and memory and you will save an additional $210.

MOBO is P45 so if you ever xfire then it will drop to x8 but if you look at any of the tests there is not a huge difference in performance.
I don't know a lot about PSU's but the one I picked is inexpensive and has a very high rating at newegg.
