I just bought a whole bunch of stuff for school.
 
This consists of: Asus P5Q Deluxe Motherboard
Intel Q6600
TRUE 120 HSF
4gb G.Skill DDR2 RAM
Sapphire Radeon HD 4870
Corsair 620HX
Coolermaster 690
Samsung S203N
WD 6400AAKS
Vista Ultimate 64
 
I'm getting an issue trying to get this thing started. I have everything plugged in, SATA cables are all correct AFAIK. Everything has power.
 
I turn it on, it posts, i get a message:
 

 
Yet, the CMOS Setup recognizes the WD6400AAKS as a harddrive. I cannot install Vista. Any ideas what the issue is?

check that you dont have raid on, actually reset all the bios settings to factory defaults, check what your boot sequence u have, but at the moment it sounds like something to do with the raid controller, looking for a HDD selected for raid and theres not one there.
