Well I had my Ultra 600w for about a year and apparently after talking to their tech guy my thermal sensor has gone and now the thing is running full speed. I swear the thing is like a vacuum. I can still RMA but Im afraid that its going to be a similar issue since I have not had my current one for long at all.

So what I am thinking about doing is picking up a HX620 as many people seem to be recommending it and I can pick it up at Newegg for $120 after rebate....is this a good idea? Im probably still going to RMA but Im thinking I should pick up a higher quality PSU for my gaming pc...what do you guys think? Feel free to name some other worthy PSUs if youd like :)

Specs:

Core 2 Duo E6400 @2.8
Gigabyte 965P-DS3
PNY GeForce 8800 GTS 320MB
GSkill 2x2GB PC2 8000
120GB + 500GB HD's

This?

At that price range for that wattage, you can do better.
Consider something like this, with the same 20% off promo code.

The Cosair is a fine psu, but this PC&P unit still simply blows it away in both performance and quality, at similar price.
