Faster cpu for Abit NF-M2S MB

I now have an Athlon 64 3200+ cpu @ 2000 MHz. What faster cpus are available for my NF-M2S MB?
This homegrown box has 1 GB memory, 8800 GT(512) video, 485 watt PSU and plenty of HDD space.

You could look into the Athlon x2's. You may also see a difference (depending on what OS you're using) if you add more ram.

Whenever you need to know this you go to the manufacturers website.
However I did this already for you.

You might have to update your bios though.

Thanks br3 & jj4. It looks like I could go to an Athalon 64 X2 5000+ for less than $100. The spec says clock speed of 2.6 GHz and I have 2.0 GHz. Do I raise the clock speed?
What does the 5000+ mean?

You shouldn't have to change anything. The motherboard will detect the new chip and start operating at that speed. 5000+ is just the model number. They go all the way up to the 6400+ I think.
