Have you had any problems with SATA cables?

This poll is mostly for system builders.

I've had so many troubles with brand new machines. Customers returned their PCs with words: "It hangs on that first picture", "It won't boot the system", "It says something about network boot", "It hangs with some text about devices", ...
All related to the SATA cable on hard drive.

So, did any of you had similar experience?

Well, on the basis of two votes, SATA cables are very reliable.

The sata cables supplied with good new motherboards are usually reliable.
Problems can arise when adding sata drives and buying cheap sata cables that won't go in far enough to establish a good connection, some have had to resort to stripping about 3mm off the plastic plug to make it fit.
