I have an ASUS P5Q-E mobo that comes with two SATA II controllers:

Intel ICH10R
Silicon Image SIL5723 Controller

I got two hard drives:
WD 7200 RPM 8MB Cache: 160 GB
WD VelociRaptor 10000 RPM 16MB Cache: 160 GB

Would I get better performance if I put the hard drives on two different controllers? Which one of the above controller is better for performance?

Thanks!
