Looking for LCD

I'm looking for a monitor in the $150 range

I found these two at best buy and was wondering if these were any good

I had also looked on newegg but was worried about dead pixels

Oh, and is there a big differance in gaming between a 2ms and 5ms response time????

And how important is the contrast ratio??

dbman19 dead pixels all lcd can have dead pixels no matter were you buy it from.the two choices have as much chances to have dead pixel as any lcd no matter of size and makers or were you buy it from.never have had a dead pixel,guess I've been lucky.that said i still wouldn't buy from best buy.prices are higher than on line stores.

1 suggestion wait and save $50.00 more and go from there.

have had viewsonic 19" $365.00 and samsung 19"385.00 I have to say the 22"acer blew them away as far as size and resolution and price.this is not to say they make bad lcd,they make great lcd. just go to newegg and other online store's and check reviews on lcd's.it's your money do your home work and then make a choice.
