ddr2 800 on a ddr2 1200 mb?

Hi I am looking at a buying a new motherboard and it says the memory standerd is ddr 2 1200. Now would my ddr2 800 slap right in and work? And if so would it work with out having to play with anything in the bios? Thanks

Yes, it should work. If you want to be positive, you could look through reviews of it and see if anyone uses the same ram as you.
