ddr2 800 on a ddr2 1200 mb?

Hi I am looking at a buying a new motherboard and it says the memory standerd is ddr 2 1200. Now would my ddr2 800 slap right in and work? And if so would it work with out having to play with anything in the bios? Thanks :)

  4. Yes, it should work. If you want to be positive, you could look through reviews of it and see if anyone uses the same ram as you.
