So I'm in a bit of a rush so I'll post the specs up later, but I own a Asus p5nsli motherboard. It is supposed to have a nforce 570 sli chipset, but when the post screen shows up it reports it as an nforce 4 sli. I have never heard of a bios misreporting a chipset, so I am really lost. I've updated the bios to 1602, and still no avail.

Stupid possibilty, but I really haven't explored my board much, could there be setting in my bios or a jumper limiting the chipset?

Thanks for your help,

-Derek.

Wow I just physically checked the chips and they are in fact nforce4's. I find that incredibly odd, considering in the manual and on the box (and just about everywhere else now that I think about it) that it is an 570 sli.

Maybe I was just the lucky end user who ended up with a downgraded board.
