I'm building a new gaming rig and I've seen a few screenshots of temperature, voltage, etc. apps. It was a few little future-y looking windows going down the right side of the screen.

Anyone have any idea what I'm talking about? It'd be great to have once I start OCing.

If not, can you recommend some apps that do the same or similar?
Also, what programs do you use to test your newly OCed build?

CPU-Z to check the actual voltages / FSB etc once you overclock.

I usually use coretemp and speedfan for temps but i heard that a new program came out called realtemp which is the best temp monitoring tool available at present

Then use Orthos or Prime 95 to stress your CPU

Good luck overclocking and do be careful not to push it too hard and fry everything. I would recommend reading a OCing guide if you haven't already.

Nice, thanks a lot.

I've been reading this guide pretty thoroughly:
