Scythe mugen 2 on bloodrage

If I install the scythe mugen 2 heatsink/fan, will it block a ram slot?
if it does, i'll have to go with another cooler.. since bloodrage only has 3 slots for RAM.
Also, why do people install the fan on the RAM side?
I thought you were supposed to put it on the other side (towards the rear)
so that the air would be pulled out from the heatsink out the back.

haha man you missed the concept that push is better than pull. because when u put the fan on the side which is the RIGHT side and the left side will be the rear fan (from the case).

air will be pushed from the right to the left

my RAM is the regular one without a heatsink.. G. Skill 6 gb 1600 mhz.

can you check the DISTANCE between your cpu (right side) to the nearest ram slot? try to be actual

i confirmed since my rams are normal height-rams, they should be fine.
However, will the heatsink touch the north bridge?
the foxconn bloodrage north bridge is pretty high...
