What you guys think???

I want to know what you guys think about my first build..did i choose well or do I have to redo it>?

Well for my processor I went with AMD Because I was in the budget and i got the AMD 5000 Black Edition> http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819103194

For my motherboard which is the one that im less happy with, it isnt that bad.. The only down-fall that i dint realized till I got it was that if I want to upgrade to quad-core I dont think I'll be able, I got the GIGABYTE GA-M57SLI-S4 AM2 NVIDIA nForce 570> http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128014

For memory I dint chose wisely because I totally went by price, I saw this 675 corsair instead of the 800 because of the price tags. I dint realize the diference after I got it, and my friend told me about 675 and 800>> http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820145015 .................the problem is that I would want to have 4gb and if I buy 4 gb of memory 800, I cant just throw the one the I have away,, it almost seems that if I want 4gb the only way is buying another pack of 675.

For my video card I dont regreted but according to my friends it wasn't a good descion either this is what i got> http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814127306 ....................I'am planing to buy another one to go sli, but somebody told me that is better that I just buy a 8800gt instead of going sli with 8600

For my Hard drive I went with the seagate barracuda 250 gbts 7200 rpm> http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822148262 .... planing to buy another one to make raid 0 setup

According to my friends the only smart choice I did was in my cpu fan, I got the zalman 9700> http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835118019

And for my case I got aluminum ultra> http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=1215768&Sku=ULT31824 < which isnt a bad case bud my desktop is kind of loud now. and for my power suply i stil got a ultra power suply 500 watt that came with the case, im planing on change later to a antec 850 watt that Im getting from a friend in 60 bucks I mean thats a help> http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817371009

I have no problem with this components now, I nearly fix any problem there was i just would like that my index score would be better that 5.6 and not being afraid of buying games like crysis because you dont know what to expect,, just tell me guys if should change anything but without waisting money,, cuz changing mother board, I'll ended up having waisted this one or building 2 computers, I just cant spend alot, thats why I build on a budget in the first place, let me know what ya guys think about this build and what does it need too be better , any opinions are welcome,, thanks in advance folks!!!

More about what guys think
  1. If you have everything working, then good for you.

Really, the card is matched well with your system. You can probably run Crysis on lower settings just fine.

Most people won't like your build because this is the type of computer they are upgrading FROM not TO... in other words computers like this one are going to aunt Betty to play solitaire with.

If it's an upgrade to you and you will enjoy using it, then good for you. You built it for very little money.
  2. Ok, I see, and I also though of that as well. But I also think i can make it better with little money, even if that means to have a video card, cpu and memory siting in my closet. i though of buying the falowing:

AMD Phenon Agena 9600, a quadcore with a good price> http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819103244 ... the only problem is that this in my motherboard page "*Note: If you install AMD AM2+ CPU on AM2 motherbord, the system bus speed will downgrade from HT3.0(5200MHz) to HT1.0(2000 MT/s) spec; however, the frequency of AM2+ CPU will not be impacted. Please refer "CPU Support List" for more information. "

Another Hard drive for raid 0 setup, which will help in load times> http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822148262

4 gb of memory 800 patriot, exelent price > http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820220267

As for the video card i dont know if to buy a second one and sli or just go for the 8800gt, i know 8800 gt is better but i also taking in count that i just dont want to have a video card thrown at my closet.. but lets go for the 8800gt> http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130318

the price of all that is 466 without shipping and handling all come down to 537. For me that kind of money is alot but im also aware that I have to pay for my mistakes, if i would have waited and research this wouldnt had happen.
