Im in the middle of rebuilding an older Chieftec case to give me something to do. New paint, fans, fan controller, sleeving, and custom wiring harness for fans.

Question is, is it better to have a pressurized case or a vacuum in the case?

Im going from 5 80s and a 120 in the PSU to 4 92s, a 140, and a 120 in the PSU, controlled by a fan controller. 2 92s and a 140 in, 2 92s and a 120 (psu) out.

If you have good dust filters on the intakes, pressure inside prevents dust from being sucked into the case through any unfiltered holes or slots...
Cooling wise, I don't know whether it has any significant effect as long as the airflow is sufficient.

Neg pressure usually works best, since your pulling air out as well as forcing air in. Pos pressure can cause heat loops to where hot air is basically trapped, and would generally take longer to cool down, in my opinion.

Pressure. Vaccum decrease abilities of fans on psu and graphics card that draw air from inside case and vent outside. The heat trapping effect is insignificant until relatively high positive pressure. You're supposed to clean for dust periodically anyway. Cooling graphics card and psu is more critical.

Theoretically pressure would be better, but the pressure/vacuum that pc's fans can create is so low that it does not really matter.
