I have the 780i mobo and I already have 2 8500gt's cause one of my friends was gonna throw em out (???) no clue why...
but anyways I was wondering is it worth it to buy a 9600gt and go with that only or should i buy another 8500gt and use that?

8800gt is too much money for me right now

More about : 8500gt 9600gt

The 8500gt cannot do tri sli so buying a third would only be for the 6 monitor ability. I believe the 1 9600gt(64 stream processors) would out perform 2 8500gt(16 stream processors x2).

From experience, going from one 8500gt to a 9600gt was earth shattering, in the graphics department. And its quieter

edit: nevermind, not sure why I read that as 9500GT.

Sell the 8500GT's and buy an 8800GS, 9600GSO, 9600GT, 8800GT, etc.
