I've got one of the old architecture 8800GTS' (640mb of RAM), it's got an s-video output that hooks up to HD Component, I've never tried it on an SD TV 'til now, but I've just tried hooking the S-Video up to an SD TV with a regular s-video cable via a scart adapter (I've only got scart on the TV) trying to use the TV as an extender, and it's not working. The PC doesn't work on another TV and another PC works on this TV, so It's definitely my PC. My guess is that the output is a component/HD signal, so my first thought was a component to scart adapter, but has anyone got any solid experience with this? I'm up on PC's but I'm a little behind on TV and Display Tech

edit: Forgot to mention i've tried forcing tv detection, and everything else, in the nvidia control panel, no joy

Damn That's a long post

bob6k, I occasionally use one of my 640s for SD video output (when the wife wants to play bejeweled on our bedroom TV), but my SDTV has an SD input. I think the problem could lie in the SCART somewhere.
