i just got my new gaming rig all put together yesterday, loaded windows, updated windows to sp2, installed nvidia 175.16 drivers, updated realtek hd audio drivers, and gigabyte motherboard drivers. So here's my problem...whenever im on the desktop all is fine, but whenever i open one of the games i have installed to play i can play for about 2-10 minutes before I get the blue screen of death for various reasons. The first BSOD said NV4_disp.dll on the stop screen which then i updated the motherboard drivers off gigabytes website. I tried playing again and after about 5 minutes of playing i get another BSOD, but this one says rtkhdaud.sys so then i update my sound drivers from realtek website. I continue playing a third time and this was the most recent BSOD error which after about another few minutes says win32k.sys on the stop screen. So iv'e updated all the drivers that i could think of. Ive ran out of ideas on what to do, someone else suggested that i run MEMCHECK program which i did and it told me i have an error with my memory, my motherboard supports 1066mhz memory and im using 800mhz if this may be the case, but im not sure if that would be a problem. any help would be appreciated.

specs:
gigabyte m750sli-ds4
ocz reaper hpc 2x1gb pc6400 800mhz ram
nvidia geforce 9800gtx 512mb
xp home sp2

Had the same problem with that driver. Installed 175.19 and haven't had that many problems since.

i just updated the bios from the gigabyte @bios tool it prompted me to reboot and i did then i would have a black screen after it showed the gigabyte logo, i reset the cmos multiple times by taking the CMOS battery out and still no luck just black screen... so i took my video card out and plugged the dvi cable into the back of the motherboard and booted right into windows no problems my video card was working fine before with my old bios so i guess i have a new question, how do i rollback my bios?!
