My programs seem to be lagging after my current overclock of an i7 to 3.0GHz. Lag as in it takes 1/2 or 1 second to do something. I can click the startup menu but it takes half a second for the menu to appear. When I'm typing, I also sometime experience a 1/4 second delay.

Is this because I either have the cpu or RAM voltage set too low, or is it because I didn't change the RAM timings/latency and now it's running out of specs?

yes, I ran Prime95 for an hour and it was stable. Then I immediately ran pass-burn for an hour and it was stable as well. Then I ran some benchmarks and pass-marks and that was stable as well.

Temperatures peaked at 68'-70'
