Nergear Rangemax Wireless USB

My husband bought this USB because he thought it would give my laptop more range but we don't know if it should be installed on the main computer or the laptop? Does this USB really do anything? I tried to read the manual but it is Greek to me.

It connects to the labtop!Sometimes gives better range not always!

it works with both, desktop and laptop i bought mine yesterday its pretty good, good signal.

if your installing it on windows xp, make sure you put the cd before u plug in your usb, other wise you might have some problems installing the device.

but if that happens, right click my computer --> mannge ---> device manager --> look for your usb right click update driver, let it search for your driver and it'll find it.
