I have planned 2 set-ups, one for a CF'ed comp, and one single GPU. Would ask for your recommendations for both rigs, in every part, even where I didn't write an "or" :
I found AEVM's suggestion with HDD very usefull, so i'll quote him here : "Try the WD6400AAKS". Reason : two 320gb platters, more quantity (140 gb more), a bit faster the the wd5000aaks, extra cheap (89$). I bought it and i'm very pleased with it.
Enermax PRO82+ 525W is verrrry sweet. It's only problem is the price and it ain't even modular. For it's price you can get a Corsair 750TX (750w), or a PC P&C QB 750W, which are better off for your CF.
For casual gaming @ 1600x1200/1680x1050 or below, i doubt you will need CF though unless you want to play games with full details and maxed AA/AF. The only most demanding game by now is Crysis, and the next "gamer's spook" Crysis Warhead is promised to work better then Crysis on actual systems.
Also get the GA-EP45-DS3 Mobo. It costs only a penny more then the EP43.
Overall you're gonna have a nice system, and i'm sure you'll enjoy it for a nice period of time. Enjoy building it
