Hey guys,
I know i dont ask questions here alot but...

After dealing with dry ice replacing the NB heatsinks etc etc, by board (780i ftw) finally dies when i switch the memory from one slot to the other.
Not sure what caused it, but yes im 100% positive it is dead.

So i am looking for a new mobo to go with my badass overclocking cpu.
I am looking for the hands down best overclocking mobo. Prefferably between $150 and $200.
I have heard good things about the rampage extreme but i am kinda lost as to what else is out there.

Thanks in advance.

By the way i will replace the heatsinks on the board with custom so dont make that be why you decide one over the other.

Go with the Asus rampage extreme, i have a friend who is using it with his q6600 @ 4.0ghz.. :), and you want Sli, so it will be perfect.

Yeah... it appears that it is the winner out of the two different mobos i posted.

But i just found a new mobo...

so now it is between the rampage extreme and the rampage formula

If you want to break into reccords. Buy a P45 for your CPU benchies ... your E8500 can reach way over 500fsb with nice cooling.

And a Max EX for your GPU+CPU 24/7 ....

^ I already passed 500fsb with air cooling.

I bought the rampage extreme and it should be here in a couple days. Since round one and round two of my dice expairements failed now lets see about round 3 with a ln2 cooled cpu and NB.
